Man arranges sex date with teen on Facebook, gets robbed instead

A 41-year-old man met a 16-year-old girl on Facebook and arranged to have sex with her. After picking her up, she and her friends took his wallet, cell phone, credit cards and car.

The Indianapolis man told police Thursday night that the girl wanted to meet him for sex, and he picked her up about 2 p.m. According to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report, the two drove to Downtown Indianapolis, where they were supposed to have a party at the teen’s friend’s house.

But the house was abandoned, and the teen told the man to wait in the car. Moments later, he was being punched, kicked and threatened with a gun by two males, reports the Indy Star.

The four robbers then took the man’s car, a 2013 Lexus, and went on a shopping spree using his credit cards. Three other male teenagers held the victim against his will until the others came back several hours later, the report said.

They returned his car to him and told him to leave. The man then went home to tell his wife he'd been robbed.
