Paul Anka is really mad at Jay-Z

Legendary singer-songwriter Paul Anka says he was disrespected by Jay-Z, and he doesn't like it one bit.

Anka's upcoming "Duets" album comes out next month, and it includes guest appearances by Willie Nelson, Gloria Estefan, Michael Jackson and Dolly Parton.

If Anka had his way, Jay-Z would be on there too. But Jay never returned his phone call, Anka told TMZ, and he's not happy about it.

"I called him up, but Jay-Z has totally blown me off," Anka said. "He won't answer my calls, he's inappropriate in his behavior. I love his wife, I think she's great, but Jay-Z wouldn't return the calls."

"He's too busy with his clothing line, who knows," he speculated.

To add insult to injury, Jay once sampled Anka's track "My Way."

Plus, Anka was hoping to add Jay to his song with Michael Jackson! Sounds like when Jay-Z doesn't call Paul Anka back, we all lose.
