Eva Mendes is worried about her dog's privacy

Eva Mendes thinks privacy is also for the dogs.

Currently promoting "The Place Beyond the Pines," her new film with boyfriend Ryan Gosling, the 39-year-old actress sat down for an interview with New York magazine's Jada Yuan.

While Mendes refused to divulge any information about her relationship with Gosling, her desire to have kids, or her next acting role, she wasn't as tight-lipped about her dog's appearance in the tabloids.

Yuan wrote:

"She wishes that tabloids would blur the faces of their dogs, Hugo (hers) and George (his), in photos, like British papers do to kids’ faces. 'I’ll go somewhere and they’ll be like, "Hey, Hugo!" and I’m like, "How do you know Hugo’s name? That’s so creepy!"'"

Mendes talked even more about Hugo during an interview with David Letterman last week, telling the host that "All he wants to do is kill for me."
