[VIDEO] Oregon Human Society dog wants a date with Bo Obama

Love for the 4-year-old Bo transcends political affiliation and in one dog's case, distance. The Oregon Humane Society released this video of Ramona, a Goldendoodle, dreaming of going on a date with the first dog to the group's annual Doggie Dash.

The campaign's website features a list of reasons why Bo and Ramona should get together -- they both love the blues, for example -- and a petition for supporters to sign.

“Bo would get to meet thousands of dogs and thousands more people who care deeply for the 11,000-plus pets that annually come to our shelter," OHS rep David Lytle said. "There’s also a healthy message with kids and families walking their dogs.”

Bo, who probably has his paws full with the White House's annual Egg Roll, has yet to respond.
