Word broke in January that Beyonce was in the Bahamas for an H&M photo shoot when one of her dancers accidentally tweeted -- and deleted -- "First day of trial in the Bahamas! H&M all set."
Now that H&M has finally confirmed that Beyonce is the face of their new campaign, the Swedish retailer debuted the the first of the 31-year-old singer's looks. In the ad, Beyonce lounges on a beach in the Bahamas wearing summer styles and high heels.
"I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements -- fire, water, earth and wind," Beyonce said of the campaign. "It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial."
According to People, Beyonce's new song, "Standing On the Sun," will appear in some of the TV spots.
H&M designer Ann-Sofie Johnson said Beyonce helped contribute to the design process:
"There's the perfect bodycon dress, as well as a flowing sun dress that makes a real statement. And of course there are the bikinis, especially the fringed bikini. What makes these pieces even more special is that Beyoncé herself had input into the design, and they are full of her own personal style."
But is the sizzling photo shoot anywhere near as fierce as the cover art for "Bow Down?"
