During a visit to Yosemite National Park, a junior ranger took a couple of sticks home with her. Unable to contain her remorse, the "nature thief" decided to mail the sticks back to the park along with an adorable letter apologizing.

Evie's letter reads:
"Dear Park Rangers, I am a Yosemite Junior Ranger. I went to Yosemite recently and accidentally brought home two sticks. I know I'm not supposed to take things from the park, so I am sending them back. Please put them in nature."
The rangers posted the letter online and have agreed to send Evie photos of the returned sticks "in nature."
