Windows 7 users who currently have IE9 or the preview version of IE10 will be automatically upgraded to the latest browser while the rest of the users will be prompted to install the update in the coming weeks.

According to Microsoft IE10 is 20 percent faster than IE9 and offers greater CSS3 and HTML5 support than version 9.

Microsoft's upgrade came with a new commercial featuring American Idol's runner up Blake Lewis. The clip mainly focuses on showcasing what appears to be a new Windows 8 Touch device and a touch-supported site only IE10 users can play with.
