NASA to reveal Black Hole Discovery Wednesday

NASA will unveil new information regarding black holes during a conference Wednesday, Space.com reported. NASA's announcement will start at 1 p.m. EST and will deliver the findings based on observation made by two X-ray telescopes: NASA's Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) and the European Space Agency’s XMM-Newton observatory, NASA officials said.

NASA launched NuSTAR in 2012 on a two year mission to look for the high-energy regions of the universe. The telescope's findings will help scientists better comprehend galaxy formation, black hole growth and other celestial phenomena, Space.com noted. Earlier this year the NuSTAR captured a beautiful image of a star explosion 11,000 light-years away.
