Last night at the SAG Awards, Anne Hathaway won yet another prize for her outstanding performance as Fantine in Tom Hooper's movie version of 'Les Miserables.' For her acceptance speech, a pseudo surprised Hathaway began by announcing she was thankful to have dental insurance before getting into the usual thanking of friends, family and producers.
Though the remark was quite unexpected, this isn't the first time Hathaway delivers an odd speech this award season.
Earlier this month, the actress led her 'Best Supporting Actress" Critics Choice Award speech by stating "this was a bittersweet moment" for her because her name had been misspelled on the screen that announced her nomination.
Furthermore, after winning in the same category at the Golden Globes, Hathaway was forced off the stage by the you're-taking-too-long-music during her acceptance speech. But the actress managed to continue where she'd left off when the entire cast of 'Le Mis' took the stage to receive their 'Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy' award.
By the look of things Hathaway is sure to win the Academy Award for her performance as dying prostitute Fantine. We can only imagine what that speech will be like.
