Where's Samuel L. Jackson when you need him?
Qantas passengers on a flight from Cairns, Australia to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea spotted a 9-foot scrub python dangling from the wing of their plane. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, a woman saw the reptile through her window about 20 minutes after takeoff.
"There's a snake on the wing ... There's its head and if you look closely you can see a fraction of its body," she said.
Passenger Robert Weber felt bad for the little guy:
I felt quite sad for it, really. For the remainder of the flight, he was trying to pull himself back into the plane, even though he was fighting against 400km/h winds. The cabin crew told us that at cruising altitude, it was minus 12 degrees [10 degrees Fahrenheit] outside -- but not even that was able to finish him.
