Luka Apps, 7-year-old writes letter to Lego, gets toy replaced

When 7-year-old Luka Apps lost his Jay ZX Lego character after disobeying his dad's suggestion to leave it at home, he wrote to Lego asking them for a replacement. Soon after, a Lego consultant wrote back saying that Lego usually doesn't replace lost figurines for costumers, but that for him, they would make an exception.

Here's a transcript of the exchange that was posted on Twitter by Luka's dad, Simon Apps.

Lego's reply , made the 7-year-old literally jump from excitement, his father reported on Twitter. Luka wrote back to LEGO saying,

Hello Richard.

Thank you for talking to Sensei Wu for me.

I promise I will look after them.

Since Apps uploaded the story on Monday, it went viral on the internet and is being talked about all over the world. The grateful father made it a point to thank Lego for their great customer service.
