James Franco added Justin Bieber's song, 'Boyfriend' to his long list of music video covers. Though this isn't the first time the Oscar nominated actor mock-covers a pop song, it is the first time he features his presumed girlfriend, Ashley Benson in one of his parody videos.
The whole thing is pretty ironic since Franco told People magazine in October that Benson was one of "Bieber's girls and [he] wouldn't dare tangle with the Biebs." Adding, "I heard he wants to kick my ass. Yikes!"
According to Grantland, the video may have been shot as early as last spring, when Franco told Vulture his upcoming lip-sync video featured a Justin Bieber song.
