Zombies in love: Watch the first 4 minutes of 'Warm Bodies'

By KATE STANTON, UPI.com

"Cold body, warm heart" is the tagline for director Jonathan Levine's "Warm Bodies," a romantic comedy for fans of the undead -- a "zom-rom-com," if you will. Based on the 2011 novel by Isaac Marion, "Warm Bodies" tells the story of a handsome-but-dead zombie named "R," played by "X-Men's" Nicholas Hoult, who falls in love with the living girlfriend of a teenage boy whose brains he just ate.

The film's first four minutes follows "R" around his airport home, while he ponders the meaninglessness of his existence just like any living teenage boy.

What am I doing with my life? I'm so pale. I should get out more. I should eat better. My posture is terrrible. I should stand up straighter. People would respect me more if I stood up straighter. What's wrong with me? I just want to connect. Why can't I connect with people?

We also catch a glimpse of Rob Cordry as his best zombie friend.

"Warm Bodies" comes out February 1.
