Following reports that Ke$ha's hit single 'Die Young' was taken out of radio rotations in the wake of the Newtown shooting due to its sensitive content, the singer responded with both an apology and an alleged confession that she never wanted to record the song in the first place.
"I understand. I had my very own issue with 'die young' for this reason. I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED TO," she tweeted on December 18, according to the Huffington Post. As of now, the tweet has been deleted from her account and replaced with this one.
