Kim Kardashian: The bangs are fake!

Last night Kim Kardashian was spotted at the Los Angeles International Airport sporting 'freshly cut bangs.'

Naturally, her new haircut became viral news for a second.

After enjoying a good 12 hours of attention and in response to several concerned tweets, Kardashian decided to tell the world "the truth about the bangs."

"I saw a few of you tweeting me about my bangs!! The bangs are fake! Just clip ons!" she wrote on her blog.

Kardashian's fake bangs were styled by Chris McMillan for a Cosmopolitan cover shoot that took place on Tuesday.
