Former world number one tennis player Caroline Wozniacki stuffed a couple of towels down her top and skirt to imitate Serena William's curvy body during a match against Maria Sharapova in Sao Paolo on Saturday.

The public went nuts for the performance and Wozniacki even won the point she played 'in costume'. It was all fun and games until the video made its way to the internet and people started calling her act racist.

Feminist site Feministing.com featured the story of the Danish blond impersonating the African American in their 'Weekend in racism and sexism' section, claiming that a white woman making fun of a dark one would be considered racist in today's society because of the current history of racial standards of beauty and the over-sexualization of people of color.

" When a white woman makes fun of a black women’s body, especially in a way that hypersexualizes her and draws on the stereotype of black women’s big butts, it’s racist," the article stated.

The performance drew both negative and positive comments on YouTube where comments have gone from calling Wozniacki a hater and a bigot to a fun tennis player with personality.
