Angus T. Jones not appearing in upcoming "Men" episodes

Angus T. Jones, the teen actor who grew up before our eyes on Two and a Half Men and recently called the show "filth," won't appear in the next two episodes shot before the holiday hiatus.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jones wasn't expected to be in the episodes anyway, as his character, Jake, is in the Army and doesn't appear in every episode. The episodes in question are due to air early next year.

The 19-year-old actor, who has been on the show since he was 9, recorded a video for the born again Christian site Forerunner Chronicles, which was later posted to YouTube. In the video, he implored the faithful to stop watching his show, for which he is under contract for another year.

"If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men,'" he said in the clip.

"I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth," he said. "People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."
