Can you imagine a better engagement gift than a meet-and-greet with the other man you've been fantasizing about?
Pawnee, Indiana's devoted City Councillor Leslie Knope -- who once said that her perfect man "has the brains of George Clooney in the body of Joe Biden" -- will finally realize her dream of meeting the only man on her celebrity sex list. The recently re-elected vice president is set to appear on a November 15 episode of "Parks and Rec,"
"She’s meeting the man that she’s in love with on some deep level. It was a bigger deal to us in some ways that she meet Joe Biden than it was that she meet Barack Obama," executive producer Michael Schur said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
Schur noted that producers have had to keep Biden's appearance a secret since filming in July. FEC regulations prevented Biden's scene from airing before the election. "We couldn’t air it before the election because it was the equivalent of a campaign contribution to advertise for one candidate,” Schur said.
Both President Obama and VP Biden have said they watch "Parks and Recreation" with their families. Here's Biden's Thursday morning tweet about the show:
My whole family loves the show, and I had a great time doing it. -- VP on his Parks & Rec cameo, airing next Thursday 11/15.

NBC's clip of Biden is under a minute, but you do get to see the vice president surrounded by his real-life staff before the camera cuts out. Show producers have promised us a taste of Biden's famous improvisational skills -- one of his ad-libbed lines made the final cut.
Poehler's Knope has already rubbed shoulders with several notables from inside the Beltway. Sens. John McCain, Barbara Boxer and Olympia Snowe have all appeared on "Parks and Recreation," while Leslie visits her fiance, Ben, in the nation's capital.
