When Kim Kardashian appeared on CNBC's "Closing Bell" on Wednesday, the show's host took the opportunity to ask the reality TV personality for her "take on the economy right now."

Kardashian couched her response in the context of her line of Dash clothing boutiques. "We've made definitely some adjustments in the way that we do our buying," she replied.

The TV star also discussed her reliance on social media in developing an empire:

“I’m not trying to rebrand my image, I’m trying to use social media to figure out what my fans like and make a brand for my fans."

Kardashian might also have the opportunity to weigh in on the election. According to Politico, she's on her way to Charlotte to attend a Democratic National Convention after-party.
