Oreo celebrates Curiosity's Mars landing

The Oreo cookie tribute features a red milky center with rover tracks over its surface. The Facebook posting, which has more than 18,000 likes on Facebook, also reads, "Now, to perfectly land an Oreo cookie in milk."

This isn't the first time the Oreo brand has weighed in on an event making headlines. They created a rainbow-colored Oreo captioned with the word "Pride" in late March.

Advertising agency DraftFCB has worked with the cookie company to create a series of Oreo tributes called "Daily Twist."

Other "Twist" images include tributes to National Cheesecake Day, Bastille Day and Comic-Con. You can check them all out on Nabisco's Web site.
