Shooters can take aim at a paper Trayvon [VIDEO]

By GABRIELLE LEVY, UPI.com

Adding more fuel to an already incendiary case: someone looking to just "make money off the controversy" surrounding the shooting death of Trayvon Martin has made--and sold out of--gun range targets resembling the deceased Florida teen.

According to a report by Orlando TV station Local 6, the targets don't show Martin's face, but the implication is obvious. A black hoodie, with a bag of Skittles and an ice tea in hand.

Oh, and crosshairs on the chest.

Mark O'Mara, the attorney for Martin's killer, George Zimmerman, called the targets "the highest level of disgust," and said he hopes there's a crime with which they can charge the anonymous seller.

"It's hate mongering," O'Mara told Local 6 reporter Mike DeForest. "That's going to make it more difficult to try this case."

Even if it's ultimately revealed that Zimmerman, who by some accounts was a deeply community-oriented man with close ties to people of many backgrounds, was endangered and legally justified to shoot Martin, these targets are truly beyond the pale.
