"I am mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually exhausted," Singh explained.

"I always preach that you should be happy, you should take care of yourself," she added. "I'm not my optimal happiness right now. I could be mentally healthier."

Singh, who goes by the username IISuperwomanII, started posting videos in 2010 and has over 14 million subscribers. She hopes to regroup and refocus her energy after producing so much content over the past eight years.

"I'm not particularly proud or happy of all of it," she said of her videos. "I want to take a break to get some of my creative energy back and really think about what I want to do and what direction I want to go."

The YouTube star told fans her break from the site is open-ended.

"I'm not making any rules. This might be a one-week break, it might be a one-month break, I have no idea," she said. "I just know that until I decide I'm ready, I'm not going to be posting any main channel videos."

"Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm excited to work on myself and am grateful for your support. I love you," she wrote.

Singh also owns her own production company and authored the book How to Be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life. She appeared as an actress in Bad Moms and the HBO adaptation of Fahrenheit 451.
