'Wild Boyz' bested by ants

BRASíLIA, Brazil, May 5 (UPI) -- Steve-O and Chris Pontius of MTV's "Wild Boyz" were stung by red ants in Brazil, forcing them to seek medical care for the first time since the show began.

The duo filmed an episode of their hit show in a Brazilian rainforest, where they met an indigenous tribe and took part in a ceremony that involved putting their right hands in a wooden glove full of poisonous ants, the World Entertainment News Network reported Wednesday. Both men needed emergency medical treatment after coming into contact with the insects.

Also while in Brazil, Steve-O was bitten by a red tailed boa, both men were shocked by a 6-foot electric eel and they placed an 'anacondom' over an anaconda's head.
