Petitions on the website, which was launched in 2011, are available again -- and those acquiring 100,000 signatures or more will begin receiving responses within 60 days, according to the website.

The largest petition on the website -- with more than 1.1 signatories -- asks the government to immediately release President Donald Trump's full tax returns. Other Trump-related petitions include a request to put his business and financial assets in a blind trust (more than 350,000 signatures) and one asking him to resign (more than 138,000). Another asks the Pentagon to formally recognize Antifa, a conglomeration of anti-fascist groups in the United States, a terrorist organization.

Other popular petitions include one to repeal the National Firearms Act, one to let American farmers grow hemp and a request titled, "Do Not Repeal Net Neutrality."
