June 20 (UPI) -- WWE's resident Kingslayer Seth Rollins has been announced as the cover star in publisher 2K Sports upcoming video game, WWE 2K18.
The cover was revealed Monday in a live-action trailer featuring the former heavyweight champion and member of The Shield setting fire to a number of WWE artifacts including Ric Flair's robe, The Undertaker's urn and Triple H's skull mask with the tagline, "Be like no one."
"It was an honor for me," Rollins said of landing on the cover during an interview with ESPN. "You look at some of the previous names who have graced the cover of WWE video games over the years and to be amongst those is truly an honor and I'm humbled by it."
"I'm also just excited for our generation of guys, the new generation of up-and-coming guys, to be the first of us to be on the cover. It's cool and not just exciting for me but our entire locker room," he continued.
Previous WWE Superstars to grace the cover include Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, John Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin in 2016 and current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in 2017.
