Sept. 13 (UPI) -- WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon will be a playable character in publisher 2K Sports upcoming video game, WWE 2K18.
McMahon was announced for the game on Twitter Tuesday as he made a special apperance on Smackdown Live to confront Kevin Owens. The meeting notably ended with Owens assaulting McMahon and leaving him a bloody mess.
The expansive roster for 2K18 now includes over 170 past and present Superstars from WWE and NXT, WWE said in a statement.
Current WWE mainstays such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles Shinsuke Nakamura and cover star Seth Rollins will be present in the title along with legends such as Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Sting and Jake The Snake Roberts among many others.
WWE Hall of Famer, Olympic gold medalist and current Raw general manager Kurt Angle will also be a playable character to those who pre-order the game.
WWE 2K18 is set to launch for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on Oct. 17.
