WASHINGTON, April 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Postal Service said Wednesday it had dropped plans to cancel mail delivery on Saturdays due to a Congressional mandate dating back to the 1980s.
The Postal Service said in February it planned to keep Saturday deliveries of packages but cut Saturday mail delivery to save billions of dollars.
