U.S., Japan conduct Orient Shield 24 (10 images)

American and Japanese soldiers participate in Orient Shield 24, known as the largest bilateral field training exercise between the U.S. Army and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Held at various locations in Japan, Orient Shield 24's goals are to strengthen a long-standing partnership, which officials say is essential to maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
