Tel es-Sultan ruins in West Bank designated World Heritage Site (10 images)

The ruins of the Tel es-Sultan archeological site near Jericho in the West Bank have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins, in Palestinian-controlled territory, date back to the ninth millennium BCE. Israel does not agree with the decision.
