Israelis in Jerusalem gather at candle-light vigils and set up an installation of empty beds to draw attention to the plight of more than 200 hostages taken by Hamas and held in Gaza. Civilians, including children and the elderly, are among those taken in Hamas' assault on Israel on October 7, 2023.
