Israel observes Memorial Day, Yom HaZikaron (19 images)

Israeli soldiers, students and government leaders observe Yom HaZikaron, Israeli Memorial Day, at Mount Herzl Military Cemetery and the Yad LaBanim Memorial in Jerusalem on Sunday and Monday. Soldiers place national flags around the cemetery for the occasion, which is also known as Remembrance Day.
