Israel begins to clear Qasr el Yahud baptismal site of mines (23 images)

Israel began to clear mines from the Six Day War out of a holy baptismal site of along the Jordan River in the West Bank on March 21, 2018.

The initial survey done by Halo Trust concluded it would take two years and cost $1.15 million to make the area safe.
