House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tours Asia, with controversial Taiwan stop (13 images)

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi leads a congressional delegation August 1-5, 2022 on a trip to Asia, including a stop in Taiwan over the objections of China, which responded with military drills. The tour also included visits to Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea, where Pelosi visited the Demilitarized Zone separating it from the North.
