Horses ride through fire at Luminarias festival in Spain (8 images)

Horses gallop through fire during the annual Luminarias festival in San Bartolome de Pinares, Spain, on Tuesday. The festival honors St. Anthony, the patrol saint of animals. According to tradition, the smoke and fire purifies the horses.
