Chief police inspector Jens Jespersen told reporters Wednesday afternoon that the three suspects are Swedish males between the ages of 15 and 20 years old.

He added that they were searching for potential additional suspects.

The pair of explosions occurred at around 3:20 a.m. local time Wednesday at the intersection of Strandagervej and Lundevangsvej near the Israeli embassy in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Police said in a statement on X.

"We are shocked by the explosions near the Embassy earlier today," the embassy said in a statement on Facebook. "We have full confidence in the Danish police in their handling of the case and the further investigation."
