Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Hurricane Larry moved northeast away from Newfoundland, Canada and became a post-tropical cyclones on Saturday, forecasters said.
In its final 11 a.m. EDT update, the National Hurricane Center said the eye of Larry was located about 550 miles north-northeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland, and 1,150 miles west-southwest of Reykjavik, Iceland. It had maximum sustained winds of 70 and was moving north-northeast at 48 mph.
