May 2 (UPI) -- WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange told a British court Thursday he won't surrender to authorities for extradition to the United States, where he faces charges of computer hacking.
Assange appeared via video in Westminster Magistrates Court for the initial extradition hearing and signaled plans to fight U.S. prosecutors' efforts to try him on charges he helped former Army intelligence specialist and whistle-blower Chelsea Manning hack a Pentagon computer network.
