May 25 (UPI) -- Canadian authorities are searching for two men wanted for bombing a Toronto-area restaurant and wounding more than a dozen people, officials said Friday.

Police say two men entered an Indian restaurant Thursday night, dropped and improvised explosive device and left. The bomb detonated after a few moments.

"Glass was broken in the street," Andre Larrivee, who lives in a nearby condo, told CBC News. "There was a child's birthday party. Everything was destroyed. Lots of blood in the floor.

"Many people were screaming. They were trying to run out from the restaurant. There was a guy with glass inside his eyes. Many people were bleeding so much."

The restaurant is located in Mississauga, about 15 miles southwest of Toronto. Mississauga is Canada's sixth-largest city.

Witness Martin Cybelius told the Toronto Star the blast felt like a "small earthquake."

Three people are in critical but stable condition. The other 12 received minor or superficial wounds, officials said.

Authorities are still looking for the suspects.

The Consulate General of India in Toronto said it's opened a "helpline" for victims and witnesses.
