July 29 (UPI) -- A suicide bomber killed at least 14 people and injured 24 more after setting off a bomb inside a building hiding refugees in northern Nigeria.
The incident happened Friday night and the death toll was confirmed by a regional official. The government said a female suicide bomber snuck inside the facility housing refugees who had fled an insurgency in Borno province by the terrorist group Boko Haram, which has operated in the country for years.
