July 18 (UPI) -- The National Hurricane Center said Tuesday Tropical Storm Don has weakened slightly as it moves through the Caribbean.

A tropical storm warning has been called off for the islands of Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, according to the 2 a.m. EST advisory from the NHC. There are no longer any coastal warnings or watches in effect.

Don had formed Monday and threatened to bring heavy storms Tuesday night, but the storm degenerated to an open wave over the far southeastern Caribbean sea.
