July 6 (UPI) -- The attorney general of Mexico's Chihuahua state said at least 15 people died during a shootout between the Juárez Cartel and drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman's Sinaloa Cartel.
The Chihuahua Attorney General's Office, or PGR, said the shootout occurred at about 5 a.m. Wednesday in the neighborhood of Las Varas in the city of Madera, which is about 4 hours from the state capital of Chihuahua city.
