May 22 (UPI) -- U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a joint press conference Monday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his first day in Jerusalem.
The two leaders are expected to address the press at 12:20 p.m. EDT.
Trump arrived in Israel on Monday morning, the second leg of his first trip overseas. The first part of his tour was in Saudi Arabia, where he gave a speech asking Muslim leaders across the globe to join in the battle between what he described as "good and evil."
The third leg of Trump's trip will be to the Vatican, where he is expected to meet with Pope Francis.
After Monday's press conference, Trump and first lady Melania Trump were scheduled to have dinner with Netanyahu at the prime minister's residence.
