HURUMA, Kenya, May 5 (UPI) -- Six days after a building collapsed in an eastern suburb of Nairobi, Kenya, rescuers on Thursday found a woman alive amid the rubble.

Nairobi Gov. Evans Kidero reported on Facebook the unidentified woman was placed on oxygen and was being stabilized but had no visible injuries.

The rescue came two days after emergency workers pulled a 6-month-year-old girl from the rubble after the building collapsed on Friday from heavy rain and flooding.

The flooding has killed 35 people and more than 80 are still missing. The number of people rescued from the building reached 137.

Searches are continuing but rescuers are complaining about the lack of necessary equipment and materials.

Five people linked to the collapse of the building appeared in court Wednesday and were released on bond. Officials say the owner did not have permission to rent out the building's 119 rooms.
