ASHKASHAM, Afghanistan, April 10 (UPI) -- A strong earthquake in a mountainous region in Afghanistan has been felt across southwest Asia in cities such as Lahore, Pakistan and Delhi, India.
The earthquake on Sunday at 10:28 a.m. local time was initially reported at 6.6 on the Richter scale, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. China Earthquake Networks Center has measured the quake at 7.1 on the Richter Scale, according to Xinhua.
