BEIJING, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- China's economic growth in 2015 was 6.9 percent, its lowest in 25 years.
CNN reported the growth rate is in line with the government's 7 percent target for the year. The economy grew by 6.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015, down a tenth of a point from economists' projections.
Bloomberg Business News reported stocks took a dive at the start of 2016 amid investor concerns.
The news caps off a tumultuous year for the world's second-largest economy -- which included the devaluation of China's currency and a summer stock market crash.
