GAN YAVNE, Israel, May 26 (UPI) -- No one was injured Tuesday evening when a rocket fired from Gaza landed in Israel.
The rocket, one of up to four that were fired, landed near Gan Yavne, about 35 miles west of Jerusalem.

Sirens sounded in the cities of Ashdod, Ashkelon and in numerous villages in the Lachish and Hof Ashkelon regions, Arutz Sheva reported.
It was the first time a rocket has been fired from Gaza into Israel since the 50 days of fighting that took place in July and August 2014.
A Hamas official told The New York Times it wasn't clear who was responsible for firing the rocket.
