WASHINGTON, May 2 (UPI) -- The United States and its allies launched 24 air strikes against the Islamic State in a 24-hour period ending Saturday, destroying IS buildings, vehicles and a supply cache, the Combined Joint Task Force said.
Coalition forces conducted 17 aircrafts over Syria using attack, bomber, fighter and remotely piloted aircrafts. Separately in Iraq, coalition forces conducted seven airstrikes used attack, fighter and remotely piloted aircrafts against the IS, officials said. The attacks took place Friday into Saturday.
