NAIROBI, Kenya, April 6 (UPI) -- Kenya deployed fighter jets to bomb positions in Somalia held by al-Shabab in response to the militant group's attack at Garissa University.
Two camps in the Gedo region were targeted in Kenya's bombings Sunday night. Al-Shabab uses that area to cross into Kenya.

Mohamed Mohamud, also known as Dulyadin and Gamadhere, has been identified by the Kenyan government as the apparent mastermind in the university attack that killed almost 150 people.
The Kenyan government has offered a reward of 20 million Kenyan shillings, roughly about $250,000, for his capture.
