A military-held position called Dimas was one of the sites hit, said the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which monitors the conflict.

Syrian and Lebanese television reports are claiming the other attack struck an area near Damascus International Airport.

Syrian state news agency Sana reported, "the Israeli enemy targeted two areas in Damascus Countryside in al-Dimas and Damascus International Airport, which is a civilian airport."
