LONDON, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are ready to hit the States on Sunday, but Americans won't get a glimpse of bonnie Prince George.
The jam-packed schedule of events in New York and Washington "doesn't make it appropriate to bring him," a source close to the royal couple tells CNN.
The schedule will include visits to a children's center in Harlem, an NBA game, a conservation reception with Hillary and Chelsea Clinton and a trip to the September 11 memorial. William will take off alone on Tuesday to visit President Obama and deliver a speech at the World Bank.
The two are expected to let their hair down just a bit with celebrities including Beyoncé and Jay Z, Tom Hanks, and Mary-Kate Olsen and her beau Olivier Sarkozy, brother of the former French president. They'll also spend some time with William's 24-year-old cousin, Princess Eugenie, who moved to Manhattan's Soho last year.

"The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to their visit enormously, especially as neither have visited New York or Washington in any capacity before," said their spokesman.
"They fondly remember the incredibly warm welcome they received on their last official visit" to Los Angeles and "are very much looking forward to returning to the States."
But what about the royal everyone really wants to meet?
Baby George will spend the three-day trip back home in Kensington Palace, maybe dreaming of the new baby his mom's expecting in April.
George did get to join his parents during their three-week tour of New Zealand and Australia earlier this year.
